“Your body’s natural HGH is a complex hormone composed of 191 amino acids. In
1990 a ground-breaking (and oft-cited) study was published by Dr Rudman in the
New England Journal of Medicine. Using a controlled double-blind six

It

Releaser
HGH products are essentially amino acid ”multi- vitamins”. They typically
contain L- group amino acids such as valine and glutamine that are the building
blocks for human growth hormone. While these ingredients are essential
components of actual human growth hormone, they still need to undergo a chemical
change to produce true HGH. Many of the less- expensive pill supplements touted
as “HGH” today are simple amino acid releaser products.
A
few products on the market today include ingredients to raise the body’s level

The
First Uses of HGH
The human growth hormone was first
used to boost the height of abnormally small children. There are currently over

There are three main ways of

Saliva and
Growth Hormone
The paper entitled Gene Therapy has reported that "In a series of
experiments, the scientists showed that the production of human growth hormone
(hGH) and its secretion into the saliva of rats could be regulated with
rapamycin for at least three times in 16 days," as reported by the National
Institutes of Health. If a rat was not given rapamycin then no HGH was found
in its saliva. There has even been a virus discovered that contains the HGH
gene.
When rapamycin is utilized, the
hGH gene can be started. If the rapamycin is not used then the hGH gene does
not activate.

Test May be Ready
A new test completed in Switzerland may be able to detect human growth
hormone in athletes and be ready for the Athens Olympics. The World Anti
Doping Agency (WADA) is the body that comes out with these tests. They are the
body that puts in place the standards for tests for steroids, drugs, and other
illegal items.
WADA has chosen to not publish whether the text
will be available or not. This will keep anyone attempting to cheat unsure of
whether their actions will be caught or not. WADA also says that even if the
treatment is not ready by Athens, by taking samples from the athletes they
will be able to test them after the fact to identify anyone using illegal
substances. HGH is one illegal substance that there has been no detection
method for. Officials hope that this new test can help put an end to cheating
in sports.

Doctors are continuing to study HGH and its effects. One area of study that
has become an area of interest is testosterone combined with HGH. Scientists

Marion Jones, Olympic track runner, has been called on to testify because her
supplier, Victor Conte, was found to have performance enhancing substances in
his possession, such as human growth hormone. Jones states that, "I'm for a

You've probably been seeing a lot of claims on the Internet about how Human
Growth Hormone (HGH) is the new cure for everything from old age to improving
your sex life. Plenty of us are bombarded by SPAM that's pushing products that
either claim to be HGH, or work as HGH "enhancers" or "releasers" that
increase the body's own hormone production.
Most of these offers are from companies that
you've never heard of who are all making some pretty outrageous claims
supposedly backed up my medical studies. Many of these web sites use as their
basis for making these claims a clinical study conducted by the late Dr Daniel
Rudman who was an expert on HGH and first advanced the theory that HGH was an
effective anti-aging treatment. The problem is, Dr. Rudman was reporting on
the effects of prescription HGH and none of these "super products" contain
prescription HGH at all but rather products that only claim to stimulate the
body's own natural production of HGH.
While there are some natural and pharmacological
agents which in fact do trigger hGH production, including the amino acid
arginine which is just one of the 20 amino acids which function as the
building blocks of proteins in the human body, it is generally only effective
if administered by injection.
If you are suffering from an HGH deficiency then
your best course of treatment is to see a doctor who will prescribe a regiment
of injectable prescription HGH.
There are no clinical studies which back up the
claims of any of the "wonder products" which are being sold on web sites.
Ingestible products, creams, and nasal sprays, which claim to contain HGH,
either do not contain GHG or contain trace amounts which would have no
noticeable affect. In addition, HGH gets broken down do its core amino acids
by the body's digestive system and, therefor, loses any potency that it might
have had anyway.
There are legitimate HGH enhancers, called,
secretagogues, but these compounds are not widely available and are mostly
still in the research and testing phase.
Since it is illegal to import prescription HGH,
and it is illegal to dispense it without a prescription, you can pretty much
be assured that any over-the-counter or over-the-internet product which claims
to be HGH is a fraud. Some of these products contain plant HGH, or Bovine
(cow) HGH which may be great for plants and calves, but have no affect on
humans.
Another indicator that these products do not
actually contain HGH is the fact that prescription HGH is very expensive. The
average annual cost of treatment can run as high as $10,000 to $15,000 a year
for hGH-deficient adults, and up to 10 times that amount for children. With
HGH costing that much, what are the chances that you can buy a bottle from an
unknown web site for just $99 or so?
Even actual prescription HGH is not without its
potential side effects which may include excessive fluid retention in the arms
and legs, carpal tunnel syndrome, joint pain and a potential for diabetic
symptoms resulting from increased levels of insulin resistance. Continued HGH
abuse can result in acromegaly (gigantism) which causes an overgrowth of
tissues which is both painful and potentially life-shortening.
The Government warns that many of the HGH
products available over the Internet are either veterinarian-supplied animal
growth hormones, or are counterfeit or otherwise ineffective or fraudulent and
the claims made about them are baseless.
Keep all of this in mind before you pump your
credit card information into a web site that is run by some stranger that you
only know through a web site. Your health is much too important to risk.
The lion's share of adverse side effects that have been reported are by
patients undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy with HGH injections.
These side effects are largely caused by the fact that these injections
deliver a complete dose of HGH into the body. With the hormone being
introduced from an outside source, the pituitary begins to decrease natural
production.
The only way to be sure that your body is
receiving the "true" Human Growth hormone is for the pituitary gland to
produce it naturally. Any kind of injection introduced from outside the body
will always be synthetic.
As mentioned above, production of HGH by the
pituitary gland can begin to slow as the synthetic replacement continues to be
injected. In addition to the attenuation of production, the risk of complete
shut down by the pituitary gland begins to present itself. The body will not
release any more HGH than is absolutely necessary. Therefore if it is
receiving it's supply from elsewhere, the pituitary renders itself useless.
Other Side Effects of HGH Injections
Those receiving HGH injections from a
questionable source, other than their physician and those who take larger
doses than what is recommended by their health care provider put themselves at
risk for the following side effects:
Gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in males),Liver Damage,Edema and Fluid
Retention, Painful Joints, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Acromegaly, a disease
which is marked by enlargement of the bones of the extremities, face and jaw
that is caused by over activity of the pituitary gland.
Acromegaly has been generally reported in
subjects who have taken excessive amounts HGH. This is a dangerous disease
with increased incidence of fatality and heart attacks.
Additional side effects have been reported and attributed to large doses of
the HGH injection such as water retention and carpal tunnel syndrome. Studies
done by specialists in this field have produced positive results. Although
compelling, these studies also uncovered some confounding side effects which
include not only the aforementioned water retention and carpal tunnel
syndrome, but gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in men).
HGH and Cancer
HGH injection treatments are also known as HRT
(hormone replacement therapy) with synthetic HGH.
Like any other innovation in medicine, only time and further research will
tell what the long term side effects of Hormone Replacement therapy using HGH
are. Some studies have reported that HRT using other synthetic hormones, such
as estrogen,increase the risk of cancer.
While there are studies that have produced negative results with regard to
this kind of therapy, specifically in relation to cancer, there are others
that show no heightened risk as a result of HGH. Therefore all that can be
said with any certainty is that there is still no definitive answer to the

Not to be confused with Hormone Replacement
Therapy using HGH, treatment involving the use of the Human Growth Hormone
in the attempt to help the pituitary gland to produce and release an
appropriate amount of natural HGH has not been known to cause cancer. This is
also derived from the fact that "True" HGH, produced naturally by the
pituitary gland, has not been found to increase the risk of cancer.
HGH is undetectable in drug screening tests
requiring urine samples. As a result the Human Growth Hormone has replaced
anabolic steroids as the preferred drug among athletes who are looking for a
"short cut" to optimizing their bodies' ability to perform. Increasing reports
of abuse are also a result of this.
